The City of Corcoran is a General Law municipality operating with a Council-Manager form of government. The City Council sets and gives overall policy direction to the City Manager, who is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the City with the capable assistance of departments heads and a dedicated staff.

City Administration office staff include the City Manager, Assistant to the City Manager/City Clerk, and Deputy City Clerk.  This department is responsible for budget oversight, policies and procedures, economic development, Human Resources (recruitment, employee benefits, etc.), Risk Management, special projects and other City related activities not carried out by a City Department.  

The Assistant to the City Manager/City Clerk serves as the Human Resources Coordinator and Risk Management Coordinator, and
is responsible for preparing the Agendas for each City Council meeting.  Individuals wishing to submit items for the council agenda should contact the City Administration office. Please allow two to three weeks prior to the City Council meeting to be placed on the agenda. Items requiring additional research and time may be discussed with staff.
