Community Patrol

The primary mission of the Corcoran Police Department’s Community Patrol unit is to reduce crime, improve quality of life through the development of community awareness and to form a partnership between the community and the Police Department. The staff of the Corcoran Police Department believes the success of crime prevention and detection lies primarily with a strong relationship with the community. Working together is the key to successfully reducing crime in our community.

The Corcoran Police Department’s Community Patrol unit provides crime deterrence through high visibility patrol. Community Patrol members report in-progress crimes, and document suspicious persons or activities and/or unsafe conditions within the City of Corcoran.
