Amigos de la Communidad - English

Is the Police Department's effort to form a lasting partnership with the Spanish speaking community. We are honored to have the forum to present information in Spanish about the Police Department, about the law, and about the rights and freedoms enjoyed by all individuals. We see this as an opportunity to get to know you, to hear your opinions and to explore new ideas together. This increased communication will provide the basis for new friendships founded on mutual respect and bonded by trust. Identifying and resolving community problems through our joint efforts will greatly enhance the quality of life in Corcoran and will make our community a better and safer place in which to live and raise our families.
Remember, the Corcoran Police Department belongs to everyone, including you. Likewise, "Amigos de la Comunidad" is your program. Therefore, do not hesitate to ask questions and interact with the instructors at anytime. Also, those completing the program who are interested in participating further are encouraged to check out our Civilian Corps.
