City Manager

The City of Corcoran is a General Law municipality operating with a Council-Manager form of government. The City Council sets and gives overall policy direction to the City Manager, who is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the City with the capable assistance of departments heads and a dedicated staff.

The City manager's staff includes the City Clerk, Human Resources Coordinator, and Office Clerk. Budget oversight, economic development, personnel functions (recruitment, employee benefits, etc.), special projects and related activities are accomplished in this office. Concerns or questions about City policies, procedures or issues can be addressed by the City Manager or staff.

The City Clerk is responsible for preparing the Agendas for each City Council meeting. Individuals wishing to submit items for the council agenda should contact the City Manager's office. Please allow two to three weeks prior to the City Council meeting to be placed on the agenda. Items requiring additional research and time may be discussed with staff.
