Accounting is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of effective financial accounting systems and controls. Providing for management control over the City’s financial operations by ensuring the ability to present fairly, and with full disclosure on a timely basis, the financial position of the City to the City Manager and the City Council so they can make sound business decisions.
